The shed was build by hand as there were no 'off the peg' suitable for the purpose. The cost of building was approximately £550, dearer than most sheds of the same size but because of the timber used the shed will last far longer than any off the peg shed. Frames were built using both housing and L-joints and screwed. It was constructed in kit form outside a garage and then the parts transported to where the shed was to be built. There is no floor as such but aggregate was compacted to a depth of three inches inside the shed and outside the front doors so that the mower could be driven in and out of the building. The shed wasn't built or designed by a carpenter but by myself, the images will give a guide as to the ease of construction.
